Clicked forget this device in Bluetooth settings now my AirPods won’t connect to my phone

My AirPods recently disconnected and won’t prompt the set up screen when I open the case. I noticed before hand the rig he AirPods stopped working. The issue I’m having Is I accidentally clicked -“ forget this device” in the Bluetooth settings. And now my AirPods will not connect to my phone at all. The set up screen also does not prompt on other phones when the case is open and next to the device. What can I do?

Hi ChicagoNG, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that you are experiencing issues pairing your AirPods back to your iPhone.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you. Have you had the chance to pair your AirPods with a different supported device?

Have you had the chance to pair a different set of AirPods with iPhone?

These details can help us further isolate the issue.

In the meantime, please try to reset your AirPods Pro.

Also, let’s check for a software update and make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.
