I have just bought a new iPhone 11 and I already have an iPhone 11. My husband is going to use my old phone therefore I just paired them together. The problem is when I receive an iMessage neither phone makes a sound. I have been through the usual things such as making sure the phone is not on silent. We have the same Apple ID but I don’t know how to change my old phone to a new ID. Sorry I am not very computer literate so I hope this makes sense,

You'll want to sign out of your Apple ID on the phone that you will not be using, since this will help make sure your information is not synced with the unused phone. This should help with the message notifications so they only go to the intended device.
