Is there a way to make the F19 function key on my Magic Keyboard be a delete key? When using the numeric keys it would be helpful to have a delete key close by.

If you don't find a way give a Macro app a try. Go to the App Store and search for "macro" and you'll get a number of options. There are a number of free apps that you an try since you're only looking to change the F9 key.
I use Keyboard Maestro which is probably the most powerful macro app available and more than you need for F9.
