Any tips on how to adapt Apple Fitness+ workouts and trainers for someone with limited mobility? I use an electric wheelchair

Handcycle vs. UBE Apple Fitness I’m a wheelchair user, so I was ecstatic to see the Apple Watch and software was designed to track wheelchair activity, but I’ve run into a significant issue tracking my hand cycle in the Fitness app. Before I go further, I want to set out some definitions: Hand cycle refers to a three-wheeled cycle that is propelled by a hand crank. UBE (Upper Body Ergometer) is a stationary hand crank. This could be a standalone machine or a tabletop device. It can be electric or not. They can have chains or belts, adjustable resistance, etc. But the are defined by being stationary hand cranks. I use both. I’ve been using the Apple ecosystem for a week, and I really appreciate the “hand cycle” setting on the Fitness app. But the picture is clearly that of a stationary exercise apparatus (i.e., a hand crank). I went to do a 30 minute exercise on my actual hand cycle, riding around the block a few times exerting a lot more energy and utilizing more muscle groups than the stationary UBE. But, alas, the Fitness app treated it like a UBE exercise, and it didn’t track my movement in maps. this all strikes me as odd because Google Fit actually does have a proper Hand cycle tracker but lacks any sort of UBE equivalent. so my immediate question is what is the best setting to track hand cycling? And my next question is how do I lobby Apple to “fix” this problem? It strikes me as odd that the Apple Watch and Fitness app would have so many sensor settings that cater directly to wheelchair users and not know the difference between a locomotive hand cycle and a stationary UBE. So maybe I’m missing something?
