Desk View does not show for person receiving call
First time trying Desk View. I initiated a FaceTime call from my MacBook Pro (MacOS 13.1 Ventura). I was calling my husband across the room. He answered on his MacBook Pro (Mac OS 11.7). I clicked the Desk View button, which connected the camera of my iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 16.1.1). I was able to adjust the view and click Start Desk View. I could see both videos on my end: my face and the desk. So far so good. But my husband could only see the video of my face. He did not see my desk view at all.
Does the receiver of a FaceTime call on a Mac have to do something special to see desk view? Or is there a minimum system requirement for the receiver of the call? Any other ideas?
