Hi,

This does not appear to be an AirPrint-compatible printer. The latest supported drivers for the MFC-7860DW are for macOS 10.15 Catalina. A Brother iPrint&Scan app would possibly work.

For some other Brother models, a macOS 10.15 Catalina driver has worked, at least with one subsequent system version. You could perhaps check whether the Catalina driver (1.5.0) can be used even under macOS 13 Ventura, but that would be entirely experimental. Do not do anything unless you have backup copies of all important files. Software conflicts cannot be ruled out.

A printing system reset may be needed before/between tests.

The MFC-7860DW specifications indicate PCL6 and PS3 (BR-Script3) emulation, so if nothing else helps, you may want to test a generic PCL or postscript printer driver as well.

Also, it may be a good idea to try a network connection via a Wi-Fi router (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).
