Every time I plug in headphones to use my phone, music starts playing automatically. This seems so un-Apple like to me and takes away my control of my device. How do I eliminate this? The only other suggestion I can find deals with older iPhone/Music OS. Apple has taken away so many choices in so many things it seems. Don't be like Google (uch) or like MS, please! I can make my own choices if I am allowed.

I have been using Sony wired earbuds all this time. It has always happened since I got this iPhone 11. Of course I have to use a 'dongle' to plug in to the phone, but again this has been the procedure since I got this phone. I just don't want Music to start up when I plug my phones in. I talk on the phone regularly and use the phones to keep my hands free and to enable me to hear better when there is noise around. It should be simple and there must be some way to stop Music from automatically playing when I plug in to use my phone. BTW.... I have not wanted to spend the money for blue tooth ear buds while what I have been using meets my needs and has for a long time.
