Siri turns on by itself

Siri will randomly turn on by itself without any conversation and begin speaking. I have power cycled the device and this is continuing without my permission.

Jonesdb91,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

We understand Siri is turning on by itself.

We'd be happy to help with this.

Do you have any devices connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth? Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn it off.

Test your iPhone out and see if the issue returns. If it doesn't, there may be a Bluetooth device connected to your iPhone that is related to this.

If you have a case on your iPhone, remove it to ensure it's not related to this.

If the issue continues, some other steps that may help would be to restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone

1) Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right
2) Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3) To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Also, please check to make sure that your iPhone is up to date: Update your iPhone or iPad

1) Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2) Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3) Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4) If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.
5)Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Please let us know the outcome after giving the above steps a try.

Cheers!
