Distance moved in wheelchair mode

Hello,

I am a wheelchair user who has used the watch for many years for exercise. Is somebody able to tell me why it does not measure distance travelled in wheelchair mode the same way it does standard name. I.e in wheelchair mode you need to do it via workout which is annoying if you want distance you have travelled throughout the day e.g from the train to the office and then around the office counted
