Facebook auto scolling.

I‘ve tried several browsers now. All the same. Doesn‘t happen on IPhone though, but the way Facebook is displayed there is different. Switched to mobile website on IPad (Safari), no jumping/scrolling there either.

Really weird. So I think Facebook has to fix this as it has nothing to do with Safari.

Yes on Safari 16.0 started 1/14/2023. Mac OS 11.7 Clearing cache didn't fix the behavior. Chrome browser is not affected.

why dont you use another webbrowser?

Same here. But I found Chrome seems to be OK.

After 3 days, the uncontrolled scrolling on Safari and Firefox is fine now (it was working OK on Google Chrome). Appears to have been a Facebook issue.

I‘m having the same problem. But only in Safari, not in the Facebook app. I tried Firefox, but it had a completely different view (no menus on the right and left side), which I didn‘t like at all. In Safari (IPad OS), the groups that I visit most are on the left and also a „general“ menu (Friends, Groups, Marketplace …) On the right are my contacts/friends and ads on the top.

I have tried logging in and out Facebook, deleted Facebook cookies, restarted the IPad - no success.

I want to add the following: Just tried „switch to mobile website“ and it didn‘t happen there. But I don‘t like the design either.

Same for me on Catalina and Safari 15.6.1. Facebook on Safari have always been shaky, but is getting worse. I begin to suspect Meta is actively ruin the experience on Apple devices as revenge for losses inflicted due to Apples improved user integrity. Or maybe I'm just paranoid :D

Me too on my MacBook Air. Drives me crazy. I'll stop using FB all together if they dont fix it.

It's happening to me on both Safari and Firefox. Both are up to date.

Have same issue, makes it virtually unusable. Tried Firefox too, same issues. Is there a fix?

Any solutions? All the ones I've found don't work.
