Hidden apps

I downloaded 2 new apps recently: a news app and the app for my car insurance. Neither of them show up on my home screens. After doing some research, I found out there is a setting for new apps. I have already gone into my settings and changed the settings for “Newly Downloaded Apps” (I’m scratching my head as to why Apple thought this was an improvement and made it the new default???) However, the 2 apps that I downloaded - the news app and the app for my car insurance - still do not show up on my Home Screen. How do I fix this? Thanks, Becca

The settings change you made will apply to apps you download after making the change.

The apps you're looking for are in the App Library. You can add them to the home screen from there.

Check for it under the App Library. Next to the last page of the Home Screen.

If it is in the App Library Touch, Hold and Drag the icon to Home Screen. That's it.
