Facebook keeps automatically scrolling

Same issue here .. has been happening as of 2 days ago, what worked for me was using Chrome browser instead of Safari. Annoying as **** but until they "apple or facebook" find a fix, I will use Chrome. I have already missed several posting from friends since they appear as having been seen with this crazy fast scrolling. I hope this helps someone out there.

This is being caused by a bug in Facebook website.Use the recents Facebook tab now, it doesn't have this issue

I wound up installing another browser to use with Facebook and that works great.

this problem is only on my laptop, not phone or tablet.

Oh my gosh....can it be? I upgraded to Monterrey 12.6.2 last night on MacBook M1 and this morning FB actually functions as normal. Someone fixed something. Would love to know who and what......

On the left list of items select 'most recent'

This is very frustrating. If it's a Facebook flaw in code, then Facebook should fix it but if it's a Safari specific foible, Apple should fix it.

In any case, I hope it's resolved soon, it's VERY FRUSTRATING!

My facebook keeps scrolling ahead as well. It just started yesterday. I've tried restarting and a few other troubleshooting suggestions. Nothing has worked. It only happens on FB and not on any other pages. It's seriously annoying! If anyone can figure this one out, please share! :)

Sorry - we have multiple Macs at home, and even with latest system updates, FB appears differently on some machines, Mine just seems to have changed from a few moments ago, and now when I pull up FB in Safari, I see the Most Recent you were talking about- Have tried it, and this is not changing the problem.

This is maddening. How was this code released (presuming it's FB's code) ever pass phase one of the testing phase for something this elementary?! **** idiots.

Imagine my adaptive cruise control firmware was updated with a bug as disastrous?

Do I dare say....it's actually FIXED?!? I've been on FB on my MacBook for 30 minutes (on and off between checking emails, so leaving and coming back) and it hasn't jumped yet. Fingers are crossed that I'm not speaking too soon!! Hopefully it's fixed for everyone here!! :)

Actually when tested on my system, the scrolling problem still exist in the most recent view. ;(
