Finder

Every time I boot my Mac it shows the Finder Screen, im currently running it on Ventura 13.1

is there a reason why its doing this please .

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 13.1

No, com.apple.finder.plist, anywhere on iMac... why? I bought a secondhand 2019 iMac that was apparently running just fine on Ventura. I had it for a day and updated it to 13.3.1 (a). Now I am having finder issues. Advice I was given was to remove the com.apple.finder.plist. It is nowhere to be found. I have gone looking for it everywhere. Thanks in advance. I have tried showing hidden files etc but no luck. Where is this? Is it still used by finder in the version? What am I missing?
