Why does my apple tv switch to 3d mode on its ownm

When does this happen, for which app? Is this for Home Sharing videos, or a streaming service?
I think only Vudu has (had?) a few 3D titles. I’m not aware of other streaming services that offer 3D content.
The Apple TV box itself doesn’t have any 3D features, but a 3D-enabled TV may get triggered for 3D by supported media files and supporting playback software, using half resolution tricks (Half Side-by-side/ Half Over-under).
