Removing AirPods from the case with an ice pick probably isn't the best way. Any better ways?

The "Manual" doesn't tell what the flashing white light means; nor what the green solid light means on our second pair. Both were charged overnight.

Hello,

Hmm, see this:

AirPods Support

When your AirPods flash white, it means that they are entering pairing mode or attempting to connect to a nearby device

If your AirPods are in your case and the lid is open, then the light shows the charge status of your AirPods. When your AirPods aren't in your case, the light shows the status of your case. Green means fully charged, and amber means less than one full charge remains.

Good luck.
