A New FaceTime call coming in Disconnects my current phone call or FaceTime call...

I saw this previously but could not add to the string. I have an iPhone 13 and an iMac computer. When I am active on a phone call or FaceTime call and another call FaceTime call comes in, the current call or FaceTime call gets disconnected. I am on a Wi-Fi connection, not on cellular data. I need to know what I should do in the settings to correct this problem? Any assistance would be helpful.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

Greetings OGMactress,

It sounds like you are having issues with FaceTime disconnecting. We know how important this is for you, and we will help get you to the right place for answers.

If you haven't already, please update the device to the latest OS version 16.2. Then test it to see if the issue has been resolved. If you are still having the issue please let us know. We'll be here for you.

As with any update, it's always a good idea to create a backup beforehand:

Also, please test it on mobile data too, this will help narrow down your issue.

Farewell!
