Bluetooth randomly stops working, but works again only after a restart

Anyone else experience this or have a solution to the following problem:

I have a 7th gen iPad 10.2 Wi-Fi running on iPadOS 16.2 but this problem has been happening since I got it and it was running on iPadOS 14 (I believe). I will have Bluetooth on and any device I have connected to it (keyboard, speaker, headphones) will randomly disconnect and Bluetooth altogether won’t work anymore even if I turn Bluetooth off and turn it back on. Only if I shut off the iPad and turn it back on will it work again…until it doesn’t. I know its not as bad as other people who have issues with no connection at all, but it’s very annoying to be in the middle of typing stuff on my keyboard and for it to just disconnect and then I have to stop what I’m doing and restart my iPad.

iPad, iPadOS 16
