Unable to Update Card Details

Moved to Spain recently but i maintain my Nigerian number because I travel back and forth. My Nigerian card has expired and I have tried to renew my card without success. Everytime I attempt to update it with my new Nigerian card, I am told that I have an ongoing payment.

The only ongoing payment is for Duolingo but I paid a lump some payment for a subscription for a year. As such, I do not understand why i am being told I cannot replace that card because of the an ongoing payment.

Please how to I proceed? I have a new Nigerian bank card and I want to update my card on my apple ID. Thank you.

To find out how to remove a payment method, or if you can't remove your last payment method or use no payment method with your Apple ID, read this article --> Remove a payment method from your Apple ID - Apple Support

- Ongoing subscriptions and Family Sharing organizers must always have a payment method present. To edit the cards used for those you may need to first add the new card and make it the primary payment method before removing the old card (see: If you need to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support ).
