iPhone 7 - Mobile Data Issue - iOS 15.7.2

For the last few weeks I have been sporadically getting the following error:

"Your iPhone is currently unable to access mobile data, or make and receive calls or messages."

Error resolved when phone restarted.

IMEI, SEID #'s all appear OK when error occurs.

I have tried restoring phone (error occurred several times a day) and reseting the phone now seems to stay "up" longer 1-2 days.

Does anyone have any idea if this is likely to be a hardware, software or SIM issue?

Since this has been an ongoing issue for you, it may help to contact your carrier for a replacement SIM card. The following Apple Support article also contains helpful troubleshooting suggestions: If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad.

New SIM has same issue. Old SIM works OK in new iPhone. So not SIM issue.

Appears to be intermitent hardware issue.

Thank you JJRASC,

I will swap SIM out and see if that makes a difference. I have just bought a new iPhone so issue is not critical anymore. Will see if old SIM works in new phone etc. It will be good to keep old phone going.

Will post outcome/update.
