I have a personal email that is not a gmail or iCloud email. I have never been able to set it up on my iPhone 11. I have an iPad and a MacBook and both can receive emails from this account. I have put in every conceivable information into the places they need to go and still no email. I have contacted the provider and they say there is nothing wrong with the settings they have provided me. This is driving me crazy!

How to set up your email account manually

3. Enter your name, email address, password, and a description for your account.

Enter account settings manually
If Mail can't find your email settings, then you need to enter them manually. Tap Next, then follow these steps:
1. Choose IMAP or POP for your new account. If you aren’t sure which one to choose, contact your email provider.

Ive done all those things over and over again. I have contacted my IT guy and he says it's all good on his end. still can't get it. now it say "verifying" but then says "not verified". Before it wanted my password and said it was wrong. But I know for a fact it is not. I had no trouble setting it up on my newer iPad.
