5k Retina Display iMac (late 2015) - Calibration

I am a photographer and need my computer to have the colors, white balance, etc to be working properly. I use the i1 Display Pro but I think I've been using the wrong settings because my display looks very "cool", a lot of blue/grey. When using the i1 Display Pro it asks for the gamma tone responsive curve. I have options Custom, Standard (default) and SRGB. What should I choose? I know this particular iMac has had several issues with the display colors but I can't seem to find a good "color profile" to use for photography. The default looks the same as it is now and there is not calibration option. PLEASE HELP. Thank you.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

What color profile do you have the display set to? I would recommend SRGB IEC61966-2.1( unless you have another profile specifically for your equipment) as it is the widely used profile in cameras (not exact but so very close) and other devices.

You can select other profiles by clicking on the Color profile menu.

Which display do you have: Studio Display or the Display Pro XDR? If it's the Studio Display see this Apple document: Fine-tune the calibration of your Apple Studio DisplayOfficial Apple Support.

If you're running Monterey or earlier there's a built in display calibration function in the System preference app. This YouTube video shows show; Apple Studio Display Calibrite / X-Rite Full Calibration Guide
