Flash Texts iPhone14
I am getting spam flash texts on my new iPhone 14. I have never seen these before. Can I disable them?

Turn Government Alerts on or off
By default, Government Alerts are turned on for your device. When you receive a government alert, you hear a special sound that's similar to an alarm. If you want to turn these alerts on or off, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
3. Under Government Alerts, turn the type of alert on or off.
If not receiving emergency or government alerts, but you're seeing a message that shows "SMS Message" with a Dismiss button, these are usually routed through your carrier. For additional information on if these messages can be disabled, we'd recommend reaching out to your carrier.
