Hello Tegajore,
More information may be needed to help with this issue. To verify, are you referring to an iCloud email address/alias? If so, check out this link to make sure when you created the alias, that it was created correctly: Add and manage email aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support.
Create an email alias
1. In Mail on iCloud.com, clickat the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Preferences.
2. Click Accounts, then click “Add an alias.”
3. Provide the requested information:
• Alias: The text you provide becomes the email address (alias@icloud.com). An alias must contain between 3 and 20 characters.
• Full Name: The name you provide appears in the From field of the messages you send.
• Label: Aliases are listed alphabetically by label.
4. Click Add, then click Done.
If so, after the alias was created, did you use it and send email with it? This can indicate that the email setup did fully complete.
Did you potentially delete your iCloud email alias? Steps for deleting are at the bottom of the page we linked to. If anyone else has access to your Apple ID and password, is it possible they deleted it?
If you are referring to a different type of email alias, reply and include that information in your reply. This can allow others in the Apple Support Communities to know what to offer correct troubleshooting steps for.
Best wishes!
Thank you very much for your reply. ‘Tegajore’ is a made-up word (families’ initials) that I think only I would request. I’d like to use it as an Alias. Not quite sure what I did but I guess I botched something because it’s unavailable. I’m just wondering if there’s anyone I can ask to verify.
