VIP mailbox stopped working

This week, my VIP mailbox stopped separating the VIPS.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Hi Gordrog,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. First, make sure that your contacts still have VIP status since as mentioned in Show emails from VIP senders in Mail on Mac, if they are not a VIP, the mailbox will be removed from the sidebar.

If everything looks good there, perhaps rebuilding mailboxes can help. This can help update your messages and mailboxes. Guidance below is from Rebuild mailboxes in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.

1. In the Mail app on your Mac, select a mailbox in the sidebar.

2. Choose Mailbox > Rebuild.
