Piniic family sharing App on iPhone no longer shares calendar events within the same account

My husband has an iPhone 7, and I have a 12 Pro. We both have the Picniic app for iPhone IOS. Both of our IOS and software are up to date/updated to the latest versions. We have been using a shared family account on Picniic family organizer for several years for calednars and lists and it worked great. We have the same login on the account, etc. However, about 6 months ago, Picniic kept logging us out both out a lot at random times. After resetting passwords a couple of times, that seemed to take care of it. We were both able to login and stay logged in to our joint account. All of us (me, my husband, and kids) can still all see that we are users on the account, and we can individually add each other and kids as event attendees and add tasks for each other independently. However, also for the past 6 months, when I (or he) add an event to the Picniic calendar, or an event or to do or a list, the other person can no longer see it. I also stopped getting notifications (they ARE turned in my settings) for events on Picniic where I select to receive reminders (he still gets them for events he has added only). This has rendered the app basically useless since we can create our own calendars, etc. but can no longer share the information between us. I have tried Picniic FAQs and help page but to no avail. Note that the issue we have IS NOT syncing Picniic to our iCal or Google Cal, etc. It is rather getting app to share the information created within the app and added to the app to all users who are on the same account. Is this app even still supported by Apple? Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Or suggestions for a good family sharing app that doesn't have these issues? Thanks in advance.
