Safari bookmarks

I have just switched to an Android mobile after many years of using only Mac products. I've managed to migrate most info but struggling with Safari bookmarks migrating from either my iphone SE or an old iPad, both of which have them on there. I've enabled the Safari setting within icloud on both devices and downloaded icloud extensions to Chrome, but nothing has worked. I think it's because they are not meeting minimum requirements for icloud which I'm really annoyed about. When I signed up for it I presumed it would have longevity. I also have an old Macbook Pro which is not syncing either device. Is there any way of migrating my hundreds of Safari bookmarks to Google Chrome without using icloud?

Hi, they are only on my phone and iPad, I cant get them to sync onto my Mac therefore can't export via html file.

For help with moving bookmarks to Chrome, check the section "From all other browsers" on the Google Support page here: Import bookmarks & settings


You can also find a link to this information from the steps below in the article here: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud


"Export a copy of your Safari bookmarks on your Mac:

  1. Choose File > Export Bookmarks.
  2. Choose where you want to export the file, then click Save. The file’s name is Safari Bookmarks.html unless you change it.


To export a copy of your Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Internet Explorer bookmarks, see the Mozilla, Google, or Microsoft steps for exporting bookmarks."
