why is my MacBook Air screen flashing (only stays on for a few seconds when pressing the power button) but my external display work?

What is wrong?

Problem with a display(artifacts) The new macbook air m2 when fully discharged and plugged in, stripes appear for 10-15 seconds. When reboot, there is no such problem. What could it be ?

Likely the backlight, inverter, or the cable that runs through the hinges.

Have Apple look at it.
