Need help installing El Capitan to a bootable USB on a late 2009 MacBook using OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8

So I created the boot and everything for the MacBook and I was restarting when it told me I couldn’t use the usb I had prepared due to there being install media on the same usb I’m not sure how to fix please help thank you

Creating a bootable USB installer I erased my old MacBook pro before creating a bootable USB installer, and although I've downloaded El Capitan onto a USB, it can't seem to be found using the terminal language included by Apple. I've read through blogs and watched videos on creating the bootable installer, and I'm wondering if I was supposed to install it - as in unpackaged it completely - on a different Mac before moving it to the USB. I'm also wondering if there's a way to alter the Terminal language so it doesn't have to come through an Applications pathway, because I can't see how the computer will recognize that on the USB. Any help is super appreciated. I just need to know if I can reinstall El Capitan to the computer, given that it has nothing at all on it right now. Thanks

USB Boot Not Working So I have a 2007 MacBook Pro and when I was trying to upgrade to El Capitan it wouldn’t work and so then I used windows TransMac and made a bootable drive but it won’t pop up on my MacBook Pro can someone please help?

how to download El Capitan installer into an USB drive My 2007 iMac (Emc 2134) running El Capitan would not boot. I replaced the 500Mg HDD with a Crucial Mx500 SSD. Now after I power up the iMac, it displays with a File icon with a question mark in it, and nothing else. The mouse seems to be working though. I search the internet for any clues or instructions to get it boot up to a stage that I could at least launch the Disk Utility. The last attempt I made was to use my Mac Book to initialize a USB for Mac OS Journaled, and tried to download the El Capitan Installer into the USB, hoping I could boot up my old iMac with this USB. But somehow my Mac Book would not allow me to download the installer, saying that the version of the current OS is too new for El Capitan. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
