Reset Siri Remote to control receiver volume

Not a question, but just wanted to share a solution that worked for me. My Siri Remote volume control was originally able to control my Yamaha receivers volume. One day it randomly stopped. After trying every option I found on multiple sites, I stumbled across the article on apple support on how to reset the controller…and that worked! To reset the remote you press the tv and volume down buttons together for about 5 seconds, then release both buttons. You’ll see a prompt on the screen of your tv that says lost connection, then it will reconnect. After that happened, I tried pressing the volume button on the Siri Remote, and the message about setting up the volume controls popped up asking if I wanted to configure it now. I did, and that fixed the problem. Now I can control my Yamaha receiver volume again with my Siri Remote!
