Hi everyone. Can I use the Apple TV remote control or voice command to change the TV input so I can switch to the gaming PC and console HDMI inputs without using the TV remote?
Amazon Fire Stick can do it with voice command like “switch to HDMI 1”.
Need to confirm before getting the Apple TV 4K box. Your insight is highly appreciated.
boxes can't alter such things that are tv core functionality, unless using hdmi-cec Consumer Electronics Control - Wikipedia
would mean it would have to be supported by both tv and the device (appletv in this case) to suppose some protocol, if it exist it's not something I've heard about

If Apple TV can do the same thing then I will get the Apple TV and just have 1 Apple remote on the table to simplify the operation.
