Hey, if my iPhone 14 got a scratch on the screen, will my phone lose water resistance?

I recently dropped my iPhone, and even with a screen protector, it managed to hit a rock on the very edge where the screen protector was not covering. There is now a tiny chip in the screen, although it is barely large enough to even see. If my iPhone got a little wet in the rain, would it cause any issues? Thanks!

Can water damage the screen or reduce its sensitivity? I clean the screen of my iPhone which is not equipped with tempered glass using a wet cloth, can the water from the wet cloth damage the screen?

not unless it's such a deep scratch there is a hole into the electronics
