Fujitsu ScanSnap on Ventura 13.1
I recently reinstalled the Fujitsu ScanSnap Home software on my mac following an upgrade to Ventura 13.1, and now I keep getting this notification over and over again:
"background items added software from "PFU LIMITED" added items that can run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings."
Unfortunately, shutting off or on the PFU LIMITED item in Apple's login settings doesn't solve this problem. I have also tried enabling and disabling ScanSnap Home and ScanSnap Update, but nothing stops the notifications from appearing. I have yet to encounter this issue with other 3rd party software, so I can only assume Fujitsu has coded something incorrectly.
Unfortunately, I may need to uninstall the software, which means I won't be able to use my Fujitsu scanner. It will probably need a clean system reinstallation to accomplish this.
Do you know of a workaround allowing the Fujitsu software without the notifications?
I've notified Fujitsu and am waiting for a reply.
Do you think I should also alert Apple? If yes, how?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
