Does anybody ever notice that Apple never answers questions that don't make them look good?

Apple doesn't answer any questions here. This is a user forum. Made up of iphone users - NOT Apple.

I think what Dangerous_Dave means is that ten-thousands of people had a working 3GS Apple iPhone and due to a "update" of the firmware they have a Phone which you hardly can make a phone call and *Apple doesn't react at all, nowhere, period.*
That is strange, someone from Apple must have noticed this topic.
I notice that Apple and resellers react with the same sentence, as if they have studied it.
"+This is the first time I hear of this problem"+

exactly the same, only it will not reset all the time. One 3gs no problem but the other, battery low, and you can't get it working after 4.0.2

my husbands phone, which is the same, is no problem. same software version.

    Can anyone help me Please...

I tried to "erase all contents and settings" 5 days ago.
After i puched the red button saying "Reset" my phone went straight to the apple logo with the circle going round and round, that has been going on for 5 days now. I am pretty sure a reset should not take 5 days...

I have tried to put the phone into DFU mode and restore the phone via iTunes several times but then it just gives me the error message "can not connect to itunes software server" or something like that.
(That was on a Windows 7)

I am now on a windows Xp but when i try to download the latest 4.0.2 iTunes break the download after approx 50-70% and gives me the error 34 message "Not enough disk space on your sellected hard drive??? surely the .ipsw file is not over 542GB???

Could someone PLEASE help me out here, it's my workphone and I havn't been able to use it for the last 5 days now...

    Thanks in advance, Henrik

since my Iphone 3Gs updated to 4.0.2, my iTunes havent been able to find the phone.
Seems like this update is something to try to stay clear of.
