I have an Icloud Id associated with a PC email address which is no longer in use. I don't remember my passwords and I couldn't get into it as I've deleted this account. I keep getting pop ups to sign in Icloud with this old email address. I have a newer Icloud account which I use. How do I get rid of these pop ups or this old Icloud account? Thank you J

You would need to regain access to the account before you can request its deletion. As you need to be logged into it to request it be deleted.
If it's asking you to sign into it, it's because something on the device you are using is still logged in to it for something.
You would need to know the password to sign out of it.
You will need to request an account recovery process from Apple to regain access to the account, and then be able to request its deletion.

Before you have the iCloud account deleted, you would need to figure out what is still using it. Just having it removed from Apple servers will not stop whatever is using hot from wanting to use it.
