Print option gone from Pages

Print option gone from Pages

When I open a “pages” file, the print option is gone. I’ve always been able to print anything directly from the file I am on. I am using an Epson ET-2720 printer. I tried to print from the Epson iprint app but it gives me an error that says “the format is not supported. Cannot open or print”

Has anyone else encountered this recently? I also attempted to print from my iPhone 12 Pro Max and had the same issue.

EDIT: not sure if this makes a difference, but I am using an iPad Pro, 12.9, 4th generation.

I believe they have moved the “Print” option in Pages.

You now tap the document name in the toolbar at the top, then find “Print” there.

I assume you have set up your Epson printer to use AirPrint.

I think yours was a good question. I think the Print capability had been under those three horizontal dots inside the circle on the right side of the toolbar for years. I didn’t realize it had moved until you asked your question.

Thank you! For me, it was always under the “share” icon, the little square with an arrow pointing up. Thanks again for your help, I home school my kids and I’m constantly printing stuff for them!

Will not work for me! No print option and my air printer functions well with all other apps
