Can Siri answer questions rather than state "I've found some web results. I can show them if you ask again from your iPhone."

Given Apple's ingenuity and creative nature, I mistakenly assumed that Siri would be as good, if not better than Alexa. I now feel like questions she previously answered now result in "I've found some web results. I can show them if you ask again from your iPhone." or "I've found these web results." I receive this response for very simple questions including, "what type of doctor works with feet."

For example, if you happen to have access to Alexa, please ask her "why does my dog chew its paws?" The result is about a 40-second eloquent response that provides an accurate list of known causes followed by the recommendation to consult a veterinarian for more guidance.

Is there any way to get her to actually provide answers? Increase her database of information? Or, if nothing else, is there a way to get her to read the results aloud with a second prompt?

I don't think there is anything you can do to change the behaviour. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know how you think it ought to work.
