How do I turn off memories in iMac Photos?
I don't need my computer to tell me what old pics to view. How can I turn off notifications for memories Apple wants me to see? Thanks in advance.

In the Photos > Settings > General tab > Memories: disable the following setting:
You can only disable this in Photos on macOS 13 Ventura.

The Settings are explained here (somewhat): Change settings in Photos on Mac - Apple Support
When I remove the "Featured Content" checkmark, the complete Memories album vanishes from the sidebar in Photos. The old Memories will come back, when I enable the checkmark again. The exiting memories will not be deleted, just hidden.
Cool, thank you so much. I had to click on the General icon even though it was already "there," but after that the menu in your screenshot appeared. I'm not sure what "Featured Content" refers to, but I'll look that up. Thanks again! S.
