Blue line on weather app

What does the blue line represent on each day of the 10-day forecast of the weather app?

That’s a colored bar showing the temperature range for that day, with the left and right ends indicating the forecast low and high temperatures, and with blue shone being cooler forecast and shown in yellows and oranges and warmer colors for warmer days.


The bar is positioned for and can be compared across the forecast range to see which days are cooler (the bars will be shifted and placed leftwards) and which days are forecast warmer (rightwards).


Note how 52°F is blueish, and the end of that bar more leftwards, and 86°F is orangish and more rightwards, than other bars shown. The dot in Today bar (66°F) is the current temperature.
