Calculator button flaw still not fixed?

The calculator would be so great if it worked, but there’s been a long-time issue with certain buttons not registering when tapped, but remaining lit as though they were tapped. I see a history of concerns on the forum going back to at least 2017. Has there been a response from Apple that they’re aware and working on it? What a shame that an otherwise helpful app is infuriating to use.
