Battery status on watch face

I used to have the battery status on my watch face but it disappeared. I can find it in settings on the watch but don’t know how to get it back on the watch face.

Apple Watch Series 7, watchOS 9

Simply choose a complication called Battery in the face gallery or when editing an existing face.

It is not one of the options when I press EDIT. How can I move it to that list?
