ipad won't connect to wifi at home though wifi is fine with other devices and was able to connect ipad at apple store

iPad won't connect to home wifi though other devices (apple and otherwise) connect just fine. Turned on and off wifi and iPad, forgot wifi network and tried to reconnect (multiple times), reset network settings, reset the whole iPad, and the same, the wifi network just shows the spinner by it when selected. Took to the apple store and it connected to apple store wifi fine. It was behind on updates we found in apple store so I took it home, plugged into my macbook, and updated network, so it is up to date, though just won't connect to the wifi and I'm not sure why and what else to try.

Hi mschrager,

As you've completed most of the steps from If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network for the iPad, you may need to restart your wireless router/model per step 6 and under "Get More Help":

"Restart your router and cable or DSL modem by unplugging the device and then plugging it back in.

After you restart each device, see if you fixed the issue."

"Try connecting to a Wi-Fi network in a different location. If your device can connect, you need to get help with your Wi-Fi network"

Regards.
