Georestriction on Fire TV. Why is this a thing when I can watch it on my Apple TV?

I have a Fire TV that is capable of downloading the Apple TV+ app. One problem - Georestriction on Amazon Prime. It’s not allowing me to download the app because of “geographical restrictions “ as I live in The Bahamas.

The funny part about that is I can watch Apple TV+ on my phone, Apple TV (outdated) iPad, Macbook, etc but not on this tv because of “geographical restrictions”. All of these devices are in the same room and these restrictions are, to be frank, stupid and unnecessary. Can we change this please? Immediately?

The georestriction here is about the Amazon Apps & Games Store for downloading the Apple TV app. Which it seems has some differences with the availability of the Apple TV+ service itself on devices that already have the Apple TV app.
