Finding recipient of an ApplePay transaction

My debit card is linked to Apple Pay. That’s where my Apple Pay Cash balance is funded. On my bank statement I have a debit for an odd amount, ie $17.46, to Apple Pay. I don’t recognize the transaction. I contacted the bank about it, they said they transferred the money to Apple Pay. They have no way of knowing who it was paid to. I want to know to whom ApplePay paid that money. For instance, when I use ApplePay to make a purchase at a gas station, the name of that merchant is listed as a transaction in my Wallet, but for the transaction I referred to, in my Wallet it lists my bank. The bank isn’t the recipient. The bank isn’t going to know the name of the merchant or individual paid by ApplePay. That should be listed in my Wallet, not the name of the bank that the money came from. ApplePay is a virtual credit card. If there was a fraudulent charge made with ApplePay, I should be able to find out to whom ApplePay made that payment. To be referred back to the bank is a Catch 22.

Your transactions details are all in the wallet.

If the only listing is a payment to your bank, that's where the funds went
