I got a new iPad and it will not download any of my apps, it says it is connected to the internet.

I bought a new iPad 10th generation, this is my fourth iPad this one will not download any applications, but says it is connected to the internet. Can anyone help? Thank you.

  1. "Manually update the app
  2. Learn how to manually update an app
  3. Add a payment method
  4. You might need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app that you want to download is free.
  5. Add a payment method
  6. Resolve a problem with your payment method
  7. If your payment method is expired, declined, or failed, or a message says 'billing problem with previous purchase'
  8. Prioritize the download

From the Home Screen, touch and hold the app. From the menu that appears, choose Prioritize Download.


Prioritize Download is at the top of the menu that appears when you touch and hold the app.

  1. Restart your device
  2. Restart your iPhone or iPad, then check to see if you can download or update apps.
  3. Restart your iPhone
  4. Restart your iPad
  5. If you still can't download or update apps
  6. Contact Apple Support
