I use, and have used the walking stability feature for over a year now. I find it very insightful due to a medical issue I have. Unfortunately, for the last 6 months or so it’s been very intermittent when it records and reports data. It ends up with gaps of a month at a time often. Wondering if this is a known issue, or if I can do something to correct it.

If you're not seeing consistent data for your walking steadiness this could be due to the position of the iPhone during your walks. Measure your walking steadiness with your iPhone covers how to get the most accurate and consistent data with this feature.
"Put your iPhone in your front pocket or in a pocket near your waist while walking. You'll receive a notification if your steadiness level is low enough to put you at risk for a fall within the next year."
