Anyone else notice episode pic/previews are all blank in their library, after last update 16.2?

Hello wmcneil,

We appreciate those details.

Let's try one more thing. To refresh the app to the iOS, try closing the TV app and opening it again to see if the thumbnails load: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

  1. "From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
  2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
  3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app."

If that doesn't help, reach out to Apple Support directly, as this may require closer guidance: Get Support

Cheers!

Hello wmcneil,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

We see you're looking for assistance with the thumbnail being blank in the Apple TV library, right?

If we have that correct, let's first confirm that you have the latest version of iOS installed on your iPhone. Since updates are installed for the Apple TV app with the latest iOS version, this may help in clearing up what's occurring. Be sure to create a backup before installing the update, and we'll include details to help with doing this wirelessly below: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

If this continues with the latest iOS version, check the available storage space on your iPhone to see if this may be occurring to optimize storage. For assistance with checking the iPhone storage, check out this resource: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

Have a great day!
