How can I reduce the size of my Apple Music and podcast library?

I a trying to optimize my storage on my Mac.

Podcasts - I have unchecked the download button so it shouldn't download them automatically. This is still showing a large library how can I remove those store files, or stop more downloading

Music - as far as I'm aware there a new files download, how can I reduce his file size

Photos, how can I further optimize the storage

I do want to synchronize all my albums across my devices so want to maintain the iCloud synchronization

Any help appreciated
