iPod nano 3rd generation cannot turn on and makes clicking sound when is connected to be charged. Can that be fixed?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We recommend to perform a force restart on your iPod nano. This is a step that may help to power it on. Here's how:


"iPod nano (5th generation) and earlier

Put the Hold switch firmly in the unlocked position. Then press and hold the Menu and Center (or Select) buttons for 8 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo."
