Is there a way to get a blank or themeless keynote presentation to design myself?

I don't want to use any of the templates, is there a work around?

Re: "Is there a way to get a blank or themeless keynote presentation"

In Keynote 12.2.1 when you choose File / new there is a choice of "Basic" or "Minimal" that you can create.

You can also delete anything or everything in any template by clicking on it to highlight it, and pressing delete. So you have the control to make it "blank".

There's a useful guide online (link below):

Keynote User Guide for Mac - Apple Support

You can click on "Table of Contents" at the top of the webpage that opens,

To see various topics, leading to detailed articles.

Eg: Create and manage Keynote themes on Mac – Apple Support

says:

"If you create a presentation that you want to use again as a model for other presentations, you can save it as a theme. Creating your own theme can be as simple as adding your company logo to an existing theme or you can design a completely new theme".

So, if you want to continue creating keynote presentations, you could likely delete everything from a theme & save as a "blank" theme!

All the best :-)
