Hello Chattykb,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you'd like to change the color of clock and date, you can follow the steps listed in the resource you came from. Just in case, the steps will be below:

1.) In the Settings app, tap Wallpaper.
2.) Under the preview of your Lock Screen, tap Customize.
3.) Tap Customize Current Wallpaper or Add New Wallpaper and select a wallpaper.
4.) Before you tap Done on the wallpaper, make your customizations.
-To choose a font and text color, tap on the time.

You should be able to select the color you wish to display. If the correct color is selected, there might be other features enabled that might be changing your color. For example, Night Shift adjusts the color of your display. For more details on how this feature works and how to disable it, click here: Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You might also want to check your accessibility settings as well. Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and confirm that Color Filters is disabled. This feature could change the color of your display.

We hope these steps are helpful. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Best of luck.
